Test the Payment Gateway

Once SportingPulse has activated your payment gateway, you should process a test payment to ensure everything is in working order.

1. Create a $1 test product and activate it on the Registration Form.
2. Preview your Registration Form.
3. Log in as an existing member or create a new registration (can be deleted afterwards).
4. Enter any details required and select the $1 test product.
5. Click on Confirm.
6. A confirmation screen will appear. Click on Continue to Credit Card Payment.
7. Enter your credit card details and click on Submit Payment.

You should get a screen like this:

You should also receive a confirmation email of the transaction. Check your credit card balance in the next day or two to confirm that it has been credited for $1.

When you’re comfortable that this is all in working order, you’re ready to start using the payment gateway (see section 8 – Add the Registration Form to your website).
