Sportzware Central - Statistics
The statistics page allows you to view and edit competition, player career, round and team statistics. On the Sportzware Central - Daily Admin module click on the statistics. You will be able to select from either competition, career, round and team statistics. Each of these are explained below.
Competition Statistics
The Competition Statistics section allows users to view and edit player statistics that have been entered for each match within each competition.
- After clicking on Statistics at the Daily Admin module make sure competition statistics is checked then click OK
- A list of competitions in your database will appear. Highlight the competition that you would like to see the player statistics for then click Select.
- The player statistics for all the players in the competition will appear.
- To see the match results for each player double click on their name or click on the + icon to the left of their Player ID number. The match results from each games he/she played in will appear below.
Filtering Competition Statistics
- You can filter what statistics you see, and the order in which they appear, by clicking the arrow next to the statistics title in the Player Statistic screen then checking or unchecking them from the drop down list of options.
- To change the order that the stats appear simply select then drag the statistics either up or down in the order.
Rebuilding Competition Statistics
Rebuilding statistics allows for updates and changes that have been made in Full Match Entry module to take affect in the statistics section. Also, if you are finding errors or inconsistencies in your player statistics we advise you rebuild the compeititon statistics as this may correct errors. To rebuild statistics for more or more compeititons:
- Click on Statistics in the Daily Admin Module
- Make sure the Competition box is checked then click OK
- At the Player Statistics Screen you can either choose to highlight one compeition and hit Rebuild to rebuild just that competition or alternately you can hit Rebuild All to rebuild every competition statistics in the database.
- Provided this works correctly you should receive the message "Player Stats Rebuilt". Click Ok.
Career Statistics
Career statistics display player statistics for every competition and match they have competed in within the Sportzware Central database.
- To view career statistics at the Daily Admin module click on the Statistics button.
- Make sure you highlight Career Statistics and click OK.
Configuring Career Statistics
Which career statistics are displayed will depend which sport the database has been set up to support and which statistics have been selected from the list of option at the Career Statistics Administration screen.
- To view and edit the career statistics that appear click on the File button at the top of the Player Career Statistics screen then select Configure Career Statistics.
- From this screen you can change the sport from which the statistics will be drawn.
- To do this click on the Sport drop down box at the top left of the screen and highlight the sport you wish to use.
- You will then see the Active Career Statistics box become populated with statistics relevant to the sport you have chosen.
- You can also make statistics inactive that you do not wish to see at the Player Career Statistics screen here by highlighting the statistics and then clicking the Remove button. The statistics will move into the right hand box. Once you have removed all the statistics you want to become inactive click on the Close button to return to the Player Career Statistics screen.
- To add an in active statistics return to the Configure Career Statistics screen and highlight the inactive statistics and click Add then click Close.
Rebuilidng Career Statistics
- You can rebuild all members career statistics by clicking on the Rebuild button at the Player Career Statistics.
- You will be given a prompt (see below), click Yes to rebuild all player career statistics.
This is useful if you have made changes in the Player Statistics with the Full Match Entry section or if you are having inconsistencies with statistics uploading to your website.
Round Statistics
- To view player statistics by round at the Daily Admin Module click on the Statistics button
- At the next screen Check the Round Statistics box then click OK
- At the Player Round Statistics Administration screen select the competition you would like to see round statistics for and click Select
- The Viewing Round Statistics screen allows you to view player statistics according to rounds within a given competition. To change the round statistics you are viewing either insert a round number in the Round box or click up or down till the correct round appears.
You can also change between Normal season or Finals matches statistics by clicking in the Group box and selecting from the list.
To show the round statistics for all rounds in the competition click the Show All Rounds box.
Team Statistics
- To view team statistics according to competition at the Daily Admin Module click on the Statistics button
- Check the Team Season Statistics box and then click OK
- From the next screen select the correct competition then click Select
- The team statistics for all the teams that compete in that competition will then appear in the Team Statistics screen.
Filtering Team Statistics
You can filter the statistics that you see, and the order in which they appear by clicking the arrow next to the statistics title in the Team Statistic screen and then selecting an option from the drop down list.
Editing Active Statistics
- To edit the active statistics in the Team Statistics screen click on Edit at the top of the screen then select Active Statistics
- Add or remove statistics according to those you wish to appear in the Team Statistics screen then click OK
