Sportzware Central - Clash Resolution

Clash Resolution is the process of working through clashes (matches being played at the same venue at the same time) of an existing fixture and resolving them by allocating new venues or changing the time of the match. Clashes can also be resolved by using the Fixture Grid

Start from today

1. From the Competitions module select Clash Resolution
2. Select Start from today (this will show all clashes from today onwards).
3. Select the game that you want to move
4. Change either the date of the game, start time or venue
5. If this new time slot is available the resolve clash button will be activated. Click this button to resolve the clash.
6. Continue through until all clashes are resolved or hit close to exit the Clash Resolution screen.

Select start date

1. From the Competitions module select Clash Resolution
2. Select Select start date (this will show all clashes from the specified date).
3. Select the game that you want to move
4. Change either the date of the game, start time or venue
5. If this new time slot is available the resolve clash button will be activated. Click this button to resolve the clash.
6. Continue through until all clashes are resolved or hit close to exit the Clash Resolution screen.

Show all clashes

1. From the Competitions module select Clash Resolution
2. Select Show all clashes (this will show all clashes).
3. Select the game that you want to move
4. Change either the date of the game, start time or venue
5. If this new time slot is available the resolve clash button will be activated. Click this button to resolve the clash.
6. Continue through until all clashes are resolved or hit close to exit the Clash Resolution screen.

Field Name	Description	Example
Clash times	The Clash times section presents you with a list of clashes that have been found with the fixtures that have been drawn up. You can click on an item in this column to get the exact details of the clash.	eg 01/01/2010 2:00PM Field 1
Match clashes	Shows the two matches that clash in this time slot. Details included are game ID, Competition name, competing teams, venue, round, time.	8
Current match details	The current date, match time and match venue are displayed here and can be edited to resolve the clash	eg change the field from field 1 to field 2. if this venue is available the resolve clash button will be activated
Venue Availability	Gives you a list of the games played on the particular ground on the selected date
