From the Club menu, click on Request a Clearance. The Request a Clearance screen may differ for each national body, but it will generally appear as follows:
Select the source state to which the member belongs and click the Select button.
Alternately you can (a) Search via the member‘s ID number, or (b) Search across the entire system using surname and date of birth
Select the source association from which the member will come from and click on Select Association. Note: If the association is not listed then an ‘offline clearance‘ would be required.
Select the player‘s source club and click on Select Club.
The final step is to enter the member‘s ID number, and/or surname and/or date of birth (surname is the most commonly used search field). Search on one of the three options presented and click on Select Member.
All possible matches will be returned. Click on select corresponding to the player‘s name for the member you wish to submit a clearance for.
It is important to ensure that you select the correct player, especially when dealing with common names.
The member‘s details will appear in a final confirmation screen.
Click on Submit Clearance to send the clearance request. This will trigger an email to the relevant associations and clubs notifying them of the clearance request.
Depending on the association settings, a reason may need to be entered for the clearance.
