Mock-up

By providing more exact specifications, the easier it is to create exactly what you want and the quicker we can get back to you with the finished Report. Please make a mock-up of your custom report (a spreadsheet is a good way to do this). Also, please provide a detailed description of your report design.

Description of Report

It is not compulsory to fill in the following information, however by doing so it will significantly enhance our ability to produce a report that works exactly the way you want it to.

Report Fields

These are the fields you would like to display in your custom report. You can illustrate the fields on the mock-up and list them. Please indicate the order you want the fields to appear in, as well as any formatting (ie: date format).

Groupings

A report can group information together – eg. By round, Clubs , Teams or match. Often the report provides a page break after each group. An example is a player list for multiple teams. Player names are grouped together under the name of their team.

Font Type and Format

The standard font for reports is Verdana, with headings typically in size 14-24 and details in size 7-12.

Shading

Shading can make a report look more attractive and improve readability. Shading can generally be applied to each alternate record or each alternate group.(Note: Some fax machines can render shaded text illegible. To turn off shading in all reports uncheck ‘Report Shading’ in Sportzware Central at Configuration | Workstation Configuration| Other

Parameters

Parameters allow you to filter the report, whereby you can choose the exact data you want to report on. For example, you may want to be able to select a certain competition, round, club, team or match to report on.

Header and Footer

Please indicate any changes you require to this standard header, or show them in the mock up. The ‘licensed to SportingPulse’ text will disappear so long as the name of your SWC Registration code matches the name of your database. The logos and sub header can also be configured through SWC settings. The standard footer is in the following format
Report filename Page x of y Print date (dd/mm/yyyy) Print time (hh:mm pp)
